David Gary Johnson, age 75, of Collierville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 . David was born November 16, 1945 in Oil City, PA to the late Earnest Sigfried Johnson and Eva Isabelle Whitling Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a Educator having retired as a Principal. He was a member of the Collierville United Methodist Church, a Mason and a member of the "Hillbilly Unit of the Shriners. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, gardening and his family.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife; Evelyn Jeanette Walls Johnson, daughter; Heather Stovall (Kenneth), son; Jeremy Johnson, sisters; Marilyn Myrick, Joan Toombs (Daniel), brother; Robert Johnson (Diane), three grandchildren; Brayden, Greyson and Kylie Stovall.
A visitation for David will be held Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Collierville Funeral Home, 534 West Poplar, Collierville, TN 38017. A visitation will occur Monday, June 14, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sanctuary on the Square, 104 N Rowlett St, Collierville, TN 38017 with funeral services following at 3:00 PM. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery, 435 S Mount Pleasant Rd, Collierville, Tennessee 38017-6001.
