Derothy Mae Neal

Derothy Hobbs Neal, 83, Derothy (Miss Dotty) Hobbs Neal died March 6, 2012 at Baptist Trinity Hospice House in Collierville, TN. She was born in the Scotts Hill Community and lived for nearly 40 years in the Scotts Hill, Bodenham, and Pulaski communities in Giles County TN. She lived briefly in Houston, Tx before moving to Collierville, TN where she resided for 35 years until her death. She is predeceased by her husband James Wilson Neal, her daughter Polly Annette Neal, and her parents Ed and Eura Jane Hobbs. She is survived by a son Charles Neal and his wife Maria Elena, a daughter Melinda Neal Martin and her husband Lester R. Martin, and a granddaughter Sharon Marie Neal Suderman and her husband James Suderman. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service celebrating her life and a reception Friday March 16 at 10:00 AM at Collierville Church of Christ, 575 Shelton Road in Collierville TN. An additional memorial and burial service will be held Saturday March 17 at 11:00 AM at Greenwood Church in the Weakley Creek/Bodenham Community Giles County, TN. Her family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Greenwood Church of Christ Cemetery Funds P.O.
