Donna Rae Bruce

Donna Rae Bruce 68 passed away Tuesday September 26, 2023. She was born April 22, 1955 in Gettysburg, PA to Gordan A Myers and Dorothy M Myers. Donna lived in Collierville most of her life, but her heart remained in Westminister, MD.

Donna was incredibly talented. Everything she touched turned out amazing. She loved cooking and baking. She made sure no one in her family went hungry. She also loved shopping, decorating, and spoiling her grandchildren. Donna had an infectious smile and quick wit.

Donna wore many hats during her lifetime. She was a barber at Mr. McVay's barbershop in the town square in the 1980s. She also was a real estate agent for Don and Nancy Chute. Later on she was a dispatcher for CCC. Best of all she was the greatest wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Wes Bruce, brother Mike Myers of Westminister, MD, sister Tammy Ronchetti of Mattoon, IL. Donna also leaves her children Lisa Sparks (Luke) of Collierville, TN and Patty Walden (Jason) of Collierville, TN. She leaves her cherished grandchildren Jacob Yount, Zoey Walden, Ryan, Brooke, and Robbie Sparks. As well as several special friends.

A private family viewing will be held Monday October 2, 2023 at Collierville Funeral Home. Donna will be buried in Westminister, MD at a later date.

Donna will be remembered for faith in Christ and dedication to her family. Her presence will be greatly missed, but her memory will forever live in the hearts of those she touched.
