Donnie Ray DeVore, Sr.

Donnie Ray DeVore Jr., 59, passed away on November 11, 2012, in an auto accident. Donnie was very active in his community, and was a 32nd degree Mason. He holds a dual membership in the Byhalia, MS and Middleton, TN Masons. He was part of the Hiram Riders, and a member of Pocahontas First Baptist Church. He worked for Thyssen Krupp Elevators. He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd Thomas and Mary Agnes DeVore, brothers Billy, Curtis, Floyd, James, and Paul Devore, and one son Michael Neal DeVore. He leaves behind one son Donnie Ray DeVore Jr. and daughter-in-law Angela Renee Devore, one daughter Rayanna Lenly “Rooster Poot” DeVore, two grandchildren Savanah Ashlyn “Tadpole” and Donnie Ray “Tripp-A-Doddle” DeVore, three stepsons Michael, Christopher, and Kenny Bobo. He also leaves behind his brother Lloyd DeVore, sisters Betty Farnia, and Kathy English, and nieces and nephews Joyce Allen, Linda DeVore, Curtis DeVore, Velton DeVore, Doug DeVore, Tammy Teems, Misty DeVore, Danielle Redfern, and Eddie DeVore. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 13th at Collierville Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 14th at 2 p.m. also at Collierville Funeral Home.
