Fred Carl Lawson, Jr.

Fred Carl Lawson, Jr., 63, of Collierville, TN, passed away on September 14, 2014. He was born in El Paso, Texas on May 28, 1951. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Wandra Joy Lawson, and his two sons, Mike Lawson (Jennifer), of Arlington, TN and Terry Lawson (Angela), of Collierville, TN. He had two grandchildren, Jackson Adkins and Gemma Lawson. Fred also had five siblings, Carla Hill (Jim), of Newalla, OK, Kaye Griffin, of Memphis, TN, Marda Santos (Eddie), of Colorado Springs, CO, Stephen Lawson (Carla), of Oklahoma City, OK, and Mark Lawson (MaryLou), of Snellville, GA. He was predeceased by his parents, Rev. Carl Lawson, Sr, and Joan McNeil Lawson. Fred took everything this world had to throw at him and defied death, living life to the fullest. But we know he goes before us, leading the way to a better life. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at The Church at Schilling Farms at 1035 Winchester Road, Collierville, TN 38017.
