Getella Ann Allen

Getella Ann Allen, 79, of Collierville, TN went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Thomas Allen; parents, Paul and Era Lufcy; and a brother, Freeman Lufcy. She is survived by her son, Rex Allen; daughter, Sara Wiles(Greg); grandchildren: Caitlin Wiles, Taylor Wiles, Dalton Allen(Megan), Rachel Allen, and Allison Wiles; 1 great-grandson, Wynn Allen; 1 brother; and 3 sisters. Mrs. Allen loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Germantown Church of Christ. She retired after 45 years as a preschool teacher. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and volunteering with the VFW. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 1-2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Both visitation and funeral will be held at the Germantown Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Collierville.
