Herbert Edward Gossett, age 93, of Collierville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Herbert was born November 3, 1928 in Memphis, TN. to the late Frank W. and Bessie Blackard Gossett.
Mr. Gossett retired as a First Sargent in the United States Army after 22 years of service and was a Viet Nam War veteran. Mr. Gossett then retired as a Truck Driver. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife; Mary Earleen Gossett. He is survived by five sons; Herbert Larry Gossett, Donald Alan Gossett, William Earl Gossett, Michael E. Gossett, Richard Glenn Gossett, two sisters; Lavelle Gossett, Opal Stanton, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
