James E. Barber, Jr. 72, of Byhalia, MS, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at his home. He was a graduate of Germantown High School and an Air Force Veteran serving two terms from 1959-1963 & 1963-1967. James was retired after 35 years with AT&T. He leaves his loving wife of 52 years Judy (Mamaw) Barber, two sons Eddie Barber, Wayne Barber, one daughter Debbie Barber, two sisters Vivian Golden, Polly Garner, and one brother Larry Barber. James also leaves his grandchildren LeeAnn Barber, Joseph Barber, Jonathan Barber, Marvin Throneberry, Brian Throneberry, and three greatgrandsons Colton Throneberry, Brody Clemens, and Wyatt Throneberry. The family will receive friends from 6-8, on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Collierville Funeral Home.
