Jeanne Elizabeth Allen Carter, age 49, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch, Mississippi. She was born on July 19, 1973 and resided in Slayden, Mississippi.
Jeanne loved deeply and had a caring heart. She loved her children most importantly and was very proud of them. Jeanne also loved animals, especially her grand pups. She always had a creative spirit. She enjoyed drawing and was quite talented. Jeanne could draw and color and make everything beautiful. Jeanne would always say she was her daddy’s child, headstrong and as stubborn as they come. But do not let her toughness fool you, she was much like her mother as she would care for and open her home to anyone or any animal in need. Even if she knew it was too much for her to bare. Her nurse in the hospital stated that Jeanne was no “cookie cutter patient.” This would have put a smile on Jeanne’s face. She was strong and anyone that met her, knew this instantly. Jeanne attracted friends from all walks of life. If you met Jeanne, you loved her, and she treated everyone like family. Jeanne was strong willed and would have wanted to be remembered as a fighter. She will forever be remembered by the ones that love her.
Predeceased by her father, William Walter Allen.
Survived by her children, daughter Denise Carter (Kala), son Landon Carter, daughter Tori Carter, mother Brenda Snow Rumfelt (Fred), brother Keith Allen, sister Ginger McCreless, brother Robert Allen (Amy), brother Tad Rumfelt (Kaity), sister Carmen Rumfelt and by many nieces and nephews.
