Jerry Patrick McElrath, 80, of Collierville, passed from this life Sunday, February 14, 2016 at the Baptist Hospital East in Memphis. He was born May 22, 1935 in Mayfield, KY to the late George Dalton and Mary Rowland McElrath. Mr. McElrath was retired from the Investigation Lab of the Memphis Police Department. He was an avid bowler, loved his family, friends, life and watching old movies. He is survived by his wife, Jean McElrath; daughters, Tracy Kilmer (Scott), Kelly Churchill (David); grandchildren, Matthew Churchill, Lauren Churchill and Scott Kilmer. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Sean McElrath. Funeral Services will be 2pm Friday at Collierville First Baptist Church where he was a member, with visitation beginning at 12pm. Burial will be in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 1:15pm on Tuesday, February 23, 2016.
