Joe Dean Loveless

Joe Loveless was born in Hickman County, TN on September 29, 1929 and died April 12, 2020 as a resident of Collierville, TN. The son of Walter and Lola Loveless of Centerville, TN, Joe had five siblings growing up: Agnes, Dorothy, Era, Vera and Mary Catherine. He graduated from Hickman County High School in Centerville, TN and attended University of Tennessee Martin. Joe was in the Navy and served at the Millington Naval Air Station. After the military he worked as a Postal Clerk and was a valued employee, training many new employees at the main post office in Memphis, TN. Joe was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Joyce Loveless. He leaves behind two sons, Jeff (Kam) Loveless and John (Shawn) Loveless, four grandchildren (whom he dearly loved) Jessica Loveless, Jason Loveless, Callie Loveless, and Caitlin Calhoun, and one great grandchild, Caroline Calhoun. He was loved by many nieces and nephews for his friendly nature as well. His favorite activities were watching the Lady Vols Basketball games and mowing the lawn. He was known for his sense of humor and always had a smile. His easy going nature and love of family will be missed by everyone. A private burial will be held at West Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery.
