John Carey

John J. Carey, 66, of Collierville, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012, at his home. “Pop” was preceded in death by his loving wife of 37 years Kathleen Carey, and his brother, Dennis Carey. His survivors include his mother, Anna M. Carey; daughter, Kristin “KC” Sandefer and her husband Ronnie; four grandchildren, Catherine “Cas” Sandefer, Brennan Sandefer, Bubba Sandefer and his wife Amy, and Amber Kelley and her husband Sean, and three great- grandchildren Faylia Kelley, Brantlee Kelley, and Randi Sandefer. He also leaves behind two sisters; Kathy Andrea and her husband Jimmy, and Charleen Carey, and two brothers, Steve Carey and his wife Jeanne, Phil Carey and his wife Karen, and his sister-in-law, Linda Carey. Memorial Services will be held at Collierville Funeral Home Thursday, January 3 at 4 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Frances de Sales Church in Charlestown, MA, at a later date.
