John Kenneth Cook, 91, of Collierville, passed away December 12, 2010. He retired from the Corps of Engineers and had been a member of Lamar Heights Baptist Church and was a current member of First Baptist Church, Collierville. Mr. Cook is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruth Cook, daughters, Shirley Griffin of Memphis and Jeri Dee Fisher of Virginia Beach, VA, son, Kenny Cook of Lakeland, TN, grandchildren, Eddie Griffin, Katie Fisher, David Cook and Keri Greer and great-grandchildren, Ashlee and Hannah Griffin and Hunter Cook. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, at Collierville Funeral Home with the service at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
