Julia Rose Spencer

Julia Rose Spencer, 89, passed away May 14, 2016. She was born June 26, 1926 in Tunica Co, MS. to the late Virgie and Charles Frazier. She was a teacher and loved growing african violets. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Spencer, daughter Susan Spencer and son David Spencer. She is survived by sons Ken Spencer and Don Spencer, sister Betty Frazier Hogg of Utah and 8 grandchildren; Stephanie Spencer Logan, Amy Spencer Cook, James Mills, Piper Spencer Kassela, Margaret Ivey, Michael Lenahan, Zach Worrell and Kristy Worrell as well as numerous great-grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends with reception will be held Monday, May 16, 2016 from 4-6 p.m. at Collierville Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Collierville with burial to follow at Memphis Memorial Gardens.
