Louise was born to William Cornell Henley, Sr., and Margaret Barfield Henley on January 24, 1926, in the Memphis area.
She was a graduate of Whitehaven High School.
Louise was preceded in death by Jack Hudgens Vance, her beloved husband of nearly 61 years, their infant daughter Cathy, her parents, her brothers Bill, Bob, and Richard Henley, and her sister Ellen Salemi.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Susan (Mike) Maybry, Linda (John) Buckner, Jackie Vance, and John (April) Vance. She is survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, her sister Catherine Grossner, her brother Charles Henley, and many other dear family members.
Louise was thankful for her FAA working years and her camping trips with Jack and their dear friends in several camping clubs over the years.
She was a faithful, long-time member of Collierville First Baptist Church and always felt very blessed. Louise was so grateful to God for her salvation, her wonderful family, and a long, good life. She was a blessing to many.
The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am, Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Collierville Funeral Home, 534 W. Poplar Ave., Collierville, TN 38017, followed by funeral services at 11:00am. A committal service will be at Edmondson Cemetery in Southaven, MS at 2:30pm, Saturday as well.
