Marilyn Hawkins

A retiree from Fed Ex, Marilyn spent time with her husband at their river house on the Little Red. She surrounded herself with family, friends, and grandchildren. She enjoyed bridge and travel with her life-long friends. Her loving heart and contagious laugh will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Robert “Bob” Hawkins; son Steven Hawkins and his wife Sonya of Arlington, Tennessee; daughters Jennifer Bennett and husband Jonathan of Collierville, Tennessee and Carrie Stephens and husband Mark of Smyrna, Georgia; mother Ann and the late Fred Tackett of Richardson Texas; sister Linda Voss of Little Rock, Arkansas; brother Jerry Tackett and his wife Tina of Dallas, Texas; brother-in-law Frank Hawkins and his wife Jane of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and grandchildren Grace Bennett, Emma Bennett, Annabel Lee, Abigail Hawkins and Sam Stephens.

Visitation and memorial services will be held at Collierville Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 2 at 2 PM. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
