Mark Dewayne Richardson

Mark Dewayne Richardson, 61, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on April 16, 2024. Mark was born on October 29, 1962, in Gadsden, Alabama, and was the youngest of five brothers. After serving 28 years with the Memphis City Police Department, he retired as Sergeant in 2016. Mark is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 38 years, Joy, a son Chris, a daughter Jenna, and a grandson Mark William. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Lou, his father William Carl, and brothers Carl Jr. and Glenn. He is survived by Jan, wife of Carl Jr., brothers David Richardson (Diane Richardson) and Kenneth Richardson (Renee Richardson), his mother-in-law, Carol Myracle, his brother-in-law, Danny Myracle, and many nieces and nephews.

The visitation for Mark will be held Monday, April 22nd from 5-7pm at Collierville Funeral Home (3863 Bailey Station Road, Collierville, TN 38017).

Burial will be held in Southside, AL, on Tuesday, April 23rd.
