Pamela June Jenkins

Pamela June Jenkins, 59, of Collierville, passed away on March 9, 2016. The family will gather to receive friends on Sunday, March 13, between 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., and funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 14, at Collierville Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Born on July 23, 1956 in St. Louis, MO, Pam graduated from Florida College, Western Kentucky University, and the University of North Alabama. She enjoyed a long career with the University of Memphis, most recently in the office of the Provost. She was a faithful and devoted servant of God, worshipping with the West Fayette, Powell Road, and East Shelby churches of Christ. Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Mildred Paxson; and her brothers-in-law, Bert Lindsey and Benjie Norris. Pam is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Michael Scott Jenkins; her sisters, Carol Lindsey and Mary Jane Norris; her nephews, Alan (Becky) Lindsey, Craig (Ruth) Lindsey, and David (Mary Nell) Lindsey; her nieces, Becky (Brent) Romine, Julie (Steve) May, and Amy Norris; and several great nieces and great nephews.
