Pete Farley

Harry “Pete” Evans Farley 86, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Methodist Germantown Hospital. He leaves behind his wife, Sarah Farley; two sons, Dexter Farley (Patricia) and Darin Farley (Lore); one brother, Bruce Farley; one sister, Jarvis Tipton; four grandchildren, Sarah Frances Johnson (Eddie), Christina Scott (Adam), Mandi Osborne (Matt), Leslie Cox (Winn); and six great grandchildren, Haylee Hughes, Jackson Osborne, Luke Osborne, Drew Scott, Harrison Johnson, and Evelyn Johnson and is preceded in death by his two brothers, James Farley and David Farley.

Pete was a member of Barton First Baptist Church and the Teamsters Union. He loved staying busy whether it was tending to his cattle, helping out at the church, or just simply helping others. When he had time to relax he enjoyed a good meal, some of his favorites were catfish, banana pudding, and ice cream, Ripple to be exact.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 31, 2020 from 2pm-4pm and Funeral services starting at 4pm at Barton First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Barton Methodist Church Cemetery.
