Robert was born in Scott, Mississippi to Elsie Porter (née Weaver) and Noah Williams (both deceased). Bob lived in Greenville, Mississippi before moving to Chicago, Illinois. He later lived in Aurora, Colorado; Green Valley, California and most recently in Collierville, Tennessee.
As a member of the United States Air Force Bob was awarded many medals, badges, citations and campaign ribbons and a Bachelor’s degree from National University. He retired a Master Sergeant and spent subsequent years in various Engineering and Management positions for both CalOSHA and FedOSHA.
Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years Beverly (née Mosley); daughter, Darcie and son, Lokman; sisters Linda Lockhart (John, deceased) and Debra Brown (Ike) of Chicago, Illinois; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
A visitation for Robert will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Collierville Funeral Home, 534 West Poplar Ave, Collierville, Tennessee, followed by a Memorial Service from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
