I just found out about this and am very sorry to learn of her passing. Tammy is my second cousin. Her grandfather on her mother’s side and my mother were brother and sister.

I first remember Tammy from around 1966/67 when we were kids. Her parents had come down to Tupelo to visit. I would occasionally see her when they would come to Pontotoc to visit our other kin. When my parents moved to Tampa, FL when I was young, I didn’t get to see her as much. But one summer when I was around 18 and she was 16, she came down to visit and we went to DisneyWorld and the beach and all over. We had a great time! Anytime we got together it was like we had never been apart. I last got to see her in Memphis in 1988 right before I got married.

My condolences to her husband and family. My memories and love for her as my cousin is something I’ll always treasure.

I did not know! I could have been there Friday for visitation. Tammy & I worked together at DTC. Then when I lost my job there she was the one who helped me find jobs, interviews. We met several times for lunch late 2017 as I struggled looking for a new job. She was my biggest cheerleader. After having lunch or talking with her on the phone I felt like I could conquer anything. I’m in shock. So sad for all of the family. Such a beautiful soul, true friend, selfless & loving.

Tammy and I were at Harding Academy together, with my friends, the Haleys. 
We shared a lot of laughs and several classes.  She was a gracious, beautiful person.  I am so sorry, Tharen and family.  She has moved to heaven and I am sure she will be watching all of you with love as your life on earth progresses.  God bless you.  You're all in my prayers.

TAMMY WAS ALWAYS NICE AND KIND.....THIS DOES NOT SOUND LIKE A LOT....BUT IT IS---AND SHE WAS.   SHE WILL BE MISSED.  

My heart hurts and is joyous at the same time.  Tammy and I worked together for about a year but kept in touch through Facebook,  she made such a great impression on me that I will remember her always. She was a kind, loving, gracious, and beautiful woman inside and out, that had a smile for everyone and always time to talk to anyone.  For those of us left behind, my heart hurts but knowing that you are with our heavenly father my heart is so filled with joy for you. My love and condolences to your family as I know you will be greatly missed. Until we meet again my friend. 

There are too many memories that make me smile, laugh & cry. A lifetime of friendship is hard to encapsulate in just a few words. I’ve loved Tammy since we met in 8th grade at Harding & have been blessed by her friendship. My prayers go up for her kids, husband, sister, family & friends. Most recently, I think my best memories are of having lunch & seeing the joy in her face as she talked about Jake, Hollie & Tharen. Rest easy, my sweet friend. I’ll miss you. 

I worked with a Tammy many years ago and she was one of the kindest and caring people I had ever met.  The world has lost a true gem, but heaven has fairness a lovely soul.  My deepest sympathy to her family and friends❤️🙏

We have lost a sweet, beautiful friend and heaven has gained a precious angel. Words cannot express the sadness and sorrow felt for Tharen and their families. She will be dearly missed.

I'm in shock. I've known Tammy since I was a little girl and was so glad when we got to reconnect on FB after so many years. She will be dearly missed. Praying for her family. 

Tammy was a former co-worker that I had the pleasure of working with for almost 2 years in Memphis, she was so outgoing, funny, pleasant to be around.  After I left the company we were both employed at, we still remained facebook friends, and kept up with each other.  She was a beautiful person inside and out, and will be missed by many.  As a christian, I know our paths will cross in heaven one day.  Prayers for peace and understanding for the family.

Tammy was such a beautiful person inside and out so many great memories I will always have a special place in my heart for you my sweet friend. Tharen you and the rest of the family are in my thoughts and prayers.   Tracey Earls Adkins
