VIRGINIA O. COOPER, 81, of Collierville, Tennessee, retiree of Film Transit, passed away December 28, 2010. Virginia was born in Booneville, MS and has resided in Memphis and Collierville since coming to Memphis to work. Visitation will be held at Collierville Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, and service at Collierville First Baptist Church at 10 a.m. on December 31. Burial will be in Glenfield Cemetery in New Albany, MS. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Cooper. She leaves three children, Larry (Pat) Oden of Ridgeland, MS, Linda (Mike) Jackson of Piperton, TN, and Lisa (Allyn) Hildebrand of Knoxville, TN; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the building fund of Collierville First Baptist, Crossroads Hospice in Memory of Joseph Cooper, or CLEAR, Inc. (Her grandson’s camp ministry which she loved and supported).
