William Gordon Strong, Sr., 80, of Collierville, passed from this life Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis. He was born, September 27, 1934 in Collierville to the late William Floyd and Evelyn Looney Strong. Mr. Strong was a retired Regional Sales Manager with Eureka Vacuum Cleaners and a member of Collierville United Methodist Church. He is survived by 3 daughters; Kathy Kline, Terri West, Marti Dowdy, 2 sons; William Gordon Strong, Jr., Rhett Strong, 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A celebration of life service will be 2pm, Friday, April 17, 2015 at Collierville Funeral Home with a visitation beginning at 1pm. Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Collierville Education Foundation.
