William Murray Turner was born on October 9, 1932 and passed away on July 1, 2015 at the age of 82. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Catherine Yeager Turner; daughters, Brenda Turner, Janice Michaels (Jim), Carolyn Bledsoe and Cindy Whittiemore (Lyn); sister, Mary Elizabeth Britton; and by six grand-children and two great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 5 from 1-2 p.m., with services to begin at 2 p.m., all at Collierville Funeral Home, 534 West Poplar Ave. Interment will be held in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, July 7 at 1:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House.
