

Dennis W. Dobleske passed away peacefully on November 11th, 2022 at United Methodist Community in Collingswood, NJ, with his loving wife and daughter by his side. Even as his body declined, his heart remained strong, a testament to this kind-hearted, generous, determined and loving man.
The son of Gertrude and Walter Dobleske, Dennis was born in Saginaw, Michigan and raised in Detroit. He is survived by his wife of nearly 63 years, Ruth Czolgosz Dobleske, as well as daughter Cheryl (J Beirne), son Tom (Annette) Dobleske; his grandchildren Victoria (Micah) Kimel, Tyler Dobleske; and step-grandchildren, Meghan (Patrick) Maguire, Sean (Ashley), and Brian Beirne. Also surviving are his sister Mary Jane Tunnicliff, and brothers Clement (Shirley) and Raymond (Donna) Dobleske. He was predeceased by sister Virginia Stevenson and brother Milton.
Dennis attended Wayne State University in Detroit and spent 35 years with McGraw-Hill Construction Information Division, transferring to Chicago as Regional Manager, then to New York as Group Manager and ending his career there as VP of Operations for the Sweets Catalog Division. Dennis then had a second career with several start-ups, notably as President of Architect’s First Source in Atlanta, GA.
A devoted family man, Dennis shared his passion for travel with his family, creating precious memories and lasting traditions. He also spent time with family at second homes in Apache Junction, AZ and Cape May, NJ, where he was a past president of the Regent Beach Condominium Association. In retirement, his primary home was in New Hope, PA.
A funeral mass will be held at 11am on December 17th at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, 1 Riverstone Circle, New Hope, PA. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Martin of Tours or “Resident Council Christmas Fund” (c/o United Methodist Communities at 460 Haddon Avenue, Collingswood, NJ).
