

Judy was born on August 1, 1942 in Nashua, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late Norman and Evelyn Page.
Judy moved to NJ in 1969, where she met and later married Robert A. Matthey, the couple had two children.
Judy was a saint of a mother, caring sister, wonderful friend, a great listener to all, and a WICKED fan of the Boston Red Sox. She enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening, DIY projects around the house and spending time with family and friends, which also included many dogs and cats through the years. She truly loved spending her summers in York Beach, ME with her sister Diane.
Along with her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Matthey, her brother Harry E. Page, her nephews Doug Howard and Josh Page, and her niece Kari Howard. She is survived by her sister Diane Howard of Phoenix, AZ, two loving children: son Judson (Christine) and daughter Jennifer; stepson Robert (Brenda); granddaughters Jeanine (25) and Jenna (6), grandsons Harry (4), Joshua (4), Robert (39), Richard (36), Raymond (32) and Jonathan (31); nephew Caleb Page of Tacoma, WA and niece Alison Howard of Seattle, WA; 8 great-grandchildren and many friends.
The visitation for Judy Matthey will take place between 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Blake-Doyle Funeral Home in Collingswood, NJ. The funeral service to honor the life of Judy Matthey will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday August 16, 2023 at Blake-Doyle Funeral Home, followed by burial at George Washington Memorial Cemetery in Paramus, NJ. A reception to follow the conclusion of the burial services.
In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to The Friends of Nubble (186 York St. York, Maine 03909) in her memory.
