William G. Wolfgang

Age 89 of Cherry Hill

Peacefully on Oct. 9, 2015; beloved husband of 51 years to the late Ruby Wolfgang (nee Sheterom) ; devoted father of Paul A. T. (Sharon) Wolfgang, Ann (Joseph) Hull, Toni (William) Hufford and the late Michael Wolfgang; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 8 great - great grandchildren and his Pekinese Toy Poodle, Mitey.

Born in Tyrone, PA, Mr. Wolfgang received a BS from Juniata Collage and a MA from University of Pennsylvania. A Professor at Philadelphia College from 1951, retiring in 2002, Professor Wolfgang also served as an expert witness and an industry consultant. In retirement William published 3 books: Modern Magic , Magic and Gods and Magic in Space . A resident of Cherry Hill over 40 years, William continued to divide his time between writing , music and the companionship of his dog, Mitey.

Family will receive on Thursday, 10 AM in Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 839 Haddon Ave., Collingswood 08108. Requiem Mass 11 AM, Rev. Mark Chattin, celebrant. Interment at a later date in Tyrone, PA.

It is suggested that donations in William’s memory be offered to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church or to WHYY at 150 6th St., Phila., PA 19106.
