Alice Pike came into this world on April 3, 1943 in Niagara Falls, New York. She passed away peacefully in her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado on September 15, 2016.
Alice had a beautiful soul and loved people. She made friends where ever she went – the nurses at the dialysis center called her “Mom.” Alice adored her canine companions: Lady Bug, Sasha, Sophie, and Gizzy. She loved to play Bingo, Lotto, and any game of chance. Alice had an adventurous spirit and would try anything. She loved the outdoors: camping, boating, fishing, and horseback riding. She cherished her M & M collection, especially the red ones. Red was her favorite color, and red roses were her all-time favorite. Alice lived a full life that was dedicated to her family. She dearly loved her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rea Meidenbauer, her husband Wayne A. Pike, her sister Jean Wycoff, and her brother Robert Meidenbauer.
She is survived by her sister Karen Meidenbauer, her daughter Victoria Thomas, her son William Pike, and her grandsons Matthew and Branden Thomas.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016, at the Swan Law Funeral Home, 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
Alice will be missed by all.
