Barbara graduated from Elkhart High School in 1956. She married Herbert E Heaton, in Elkhart, on August 18, 1962. They moved to Colorado with their two children in 1977.
She leaves behind, to cherish her memory, devoted husband, Herbert E Heaton; loving children, James A Heaton and Julie Ann Heaton; sisters Betty Presley of Arden, NC and Beverly Cowsert of Highland, TX; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A small private service will be held for family only at Swan Law Funeral Home in Colorado Springs, CO.
