Barbara Lee Linville

Barbara married Roger Linville on November 13, 1953. They shared 62 years of marriage until Roger’s passing on August 1, 2015. Together, they built a life centered on family and hard work.

Barbara worked alongside her husband in their businesses, Roger Electric and Barbara’s Lighting Center. Earlier in her career, she worked at Ampex, IBM, and later retired from King Soopers. She was also an active member of the VFW Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Edith Bryant; her husband, Roger Linville; and their son, Roger Dean Linville.

Barbara is survived by her sister, Charlene Davis; her children, Charlene Dreher (Tim), Johnnie Linville (Neda), and Ronnie Linville; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Barbara loved her husband, Roger, and her family deeply. She enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos, spending time on her porch taking in the beauty of nature and the Colorado mountains and visiting with people.

A service to honor Barbara’s life will be held on Friday, January 9, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado. A visitation will take place prior to the service at 10:00 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens.
