

Born March 18, 1940, in San Luis, Colorado sadly left our world in Colorado Springs CO, on May 19, 2025. Berlinda was a loving loyal servant of our lord Jesus Christ and often proclaimed her complete loyalty to our lord and savior. She passed her same belief in our savior to her children and grandchildren. A woman of many talents and an unbelievable work ethic and a passion for doing things correctly and honestly. She was an inspiration to all she came in contact with. She was a business owner of the Red Violet Inn in Raton, New Mexico for several years. She was known to be a very skilled person in so many ways and was a jack of all trades. She was loyal, honest, devoted, and generous in every way imaginable.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and she cannot be replaced because she was one of kind and very special to all who were close to her. She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Clara Quintana.
She is survived by her brother Robert Quintana and sister Betty Ann and husband Jack Maes, her son John and wife Cece Montoya, grandson Willie Montoya and girlfriend Melanie Pacheco, granddaughter Amanda and husband Michael Alderette,and granddaughter Erika Montoya. She is also survived by her son Sam Montoya, daughter Jennie and husband Tim Keck, survived by her grandson Angel and wife Courtney Torres, granddaughter Darlene and husband Mario Deherrera, granddaughter Heather and husband Luis Alcantar, daughter Dorothy and husband Jeff Newsome, granddaughter Morgan and husband Austin Kohlman, granddaughter Rachel and husband Cory Ward. Last but not least, there are many other relatives such as her numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and life long friends who will join in grieving Berlinda’s passing.
A celebration of life will be held, Sunday, July 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM at VFW Post #101, 702 S. Tejon Street, Colorado Springs, CO, 80903.
