Betty Louise Wills

Betty lived a full life raising 5 children with her husband Fred. They were married on December 23rd, 1947. She was the popular mom for her family and surrounding neighborhood children. It was known by many that if she knew you were coming, she would have baked you a cake. Her career that she enjoyed was working in the cafeteria for Colorado Springs District 11 Schools for over 25 years and was known as the "Lunch Lady". Betty enjoyed reading, sewing, bowling, camping and loved her home where her family was raised.

Betty is survived by her 4 children: daughter Joyce Wojtacha (Del) of Wasilla, Alaska; daughter Helen Johnson of Colorado Springs; son Fred Wills of Colorado Springs; son Don Wills (Carrie) of Beaverton, Michigan, along with 10 grandchildren and 20+ great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 siblings, husband Fred Wills, daughter Janet Williams, two grandsons Allen Johnson and Pete Williams, great granddaughter Cassandra Wojtacha and great-great granddaughter Aubree Wojtacha.

A funeral service for Betty will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Swan-Law Funeral Directors followed by an ice cream social. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Betty's honor to Children with Special Needs programs.
