Beverly M. Williams, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away on December 20, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Bev was born in Rayland, Ohio December 7, 1950 and was one of 10 children born to the late Loretta & Joseph Smith.
Bev was a high school graduate and earned an Associate’s degree in computers. She was a hard worker that loved to be part of a team. She began her working career at Furr’s Cafeteria, worked for Harvest Distribution and ended at Taylor Fence Company.
Bev’s favorite pastimes were being outside, she loved planting flowers, hanging out with grandkids, shopping, taking care of her husband and the family dog.
Beverly recently lost her husband James E. Williams, but is survived by her children: Tobey (Lisa) Williams of Colorado, Teresa (Chris) Mauter of Colorado, Angela (Matt) Kelley of Oklahoma, Thomas Baker of Colorado and Linda (Dan) Zwach of Colorado. Bev is also survived by many wonderful siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends but very important to her were her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held Saturday December 22, 2018 from 2:30 – 5:30 at Grace First Church 4301 Forest Hill Rd., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907. Private burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs.
