Carol I. Morris - Bruhn

Carol I. Morris – Bruhn, 65, of Colorado Springs passed away September 19, 2013 at a local hospital surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born June 13, 1948 in Grant, Nebraska to Opal and Ernest L. Richmond. Carol married Phillip Morris and they had one daughter during their life together. After Phillip passed Carol met and married William S. Bruhn. They loved and lived their lives in Colorado Springs for a long time. Carol attended Schools and Jr. College in Colorado Springs. She worked as an Insurance Secretary and as a Host for the Resource Exchange.

Carol attended the Holy Theophany Orthodox Church faithfully and she also belonged to the Colorado Springs Training Club. Carol also liked to ride Motorcycles and enjoyed traveling in their RV. Carol truly adored her children, family and friends. Carol will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.

Carol is preceded in death by her first husband, Phillip and her mother, Opal.

Carol is survived by her husband, William; her daughter Leslie (Trey) Wiloughby; grandchildren, Justice and Chimaera Wiloughby; her brother, Gherald (Daun) Richmond of Westbend, Wisconsin; her sister, Phillis Roberts as well as many other friends and family members.

Parastas and Viewing will be Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 6:00pm. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 9:00am. Both will be held at the Holy Theophany Orthodox Church, 2770 N Chestnut St. in Colorado Springs. The burial will follow the service at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
