Oct. 25, 1965 - Jan. 13, 2018
Caroline was 52 and lived in Colorado Springs most of her life. She was born in Jacksonville, FL and enjoyed living in Georgia and South Carolina as a child. She was musically and artistically talented in her youth and attended Oral Roberts University and University of Colorado (CS).
Caroline was a smart and unique thinker. She was spunky and her sense of humor and smile was enjoyed by all. She was humble by nature and grateful for the blessings she received. She took time to compliment those around her and shared whatever she had with others. She enjoyed listening to music and good food. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sanford Ray Purvis, grandparents Edward and Daisy Purvis, Relus and Ruth Brinkley. She is survived by her mother, Marilyn Brinkley, brother, Ray Purvis (Peggy), sister, Michelle Smoker, nieces and nephews: Heidi (Jason), Molly (Josh), Tyler (Shaunna), Chad (Marie), Savanna and Skylar, many great- nieces and nephews, and family residing in Virginia.
Our family would like to thank the nurses and staff at The Gardens Care Center and Compassus Hospice for their thoughtful care during her cancer illness. Memorial service, Saturday, January 20, 2018, 3pm at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Rd.
