Crystal Amanda Stokes, 55, died Thursday, July 26, 2012. Mrs. Stokes was born on April 18, 1957 in Levittown, PA. She attended Woodrow Wilson high school and later relocated to Colorado. She remarried later in life to Mr. Harry Stokes of Colorado Springs. She lived in the city for more than 30 years, and was a member at Divine Spirit Baptist Church.
In good times, Mrs. Stokes was best known for her wide smile and bright spirit. She found joy in good food, board games, animals, and loving her family. She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother, and friend. She leaves behind a legacy of endurance, forgiveness, and humility.
She was preceded in death by her father, grandmother, and brother.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Dorothy; her brothers, Al and Charlestor; her three sons, Kristian, Daithan, and An'del and wife, Zenobia; and four grandchildren, Akeem, Alex, Nafirian, and Seniya.
A visitation will be held on Aug. 1 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held Aug. 2 at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow. All services will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Home with Rev. Albert Holland, former pastor, officiating
