

Daniel W. Crandall of Falcon, Colorado passed away Monday, October 17, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Brenda, his children and their spouses, Joshua and Kimberly Crandall, and Brittany and Jarrad Snavley, his siblings, Pat, Jeannie, and Randy, and many cousins.
Dan was born July 1, 1954 in Fairbury, Illinois to James and Mary Ellen Crandall. He attended Piper City High School where he excelled at baseball, football, and basketball. He married his beloved wife, Brenda, in Piper City on March 7, 1987. The Crandall family moved to San Diego in 1991 where Dan worked in construction and maintenance. Dan and Brenda moved to Falcon, Colorado in 2009 and were later joined by Brittany. Dan spent his free time woodworking, taking care of the garden, and volunteering at wildlife rescues. He also enjoyed traveling with family, watching NASCAR, and rooting for the Chicago Bears and Cubs. He is remembered as a kind and gentle man, a friend to all, who could fix just about anything. He will be dearly missed and his family looks forward to seeing him again one day in heaven.
Dan we be interred with his parents in Piper City at an undetermined time.
