Daniel "Dan" Malacara Sr.

Daniel Malacara Sr. was called home on August 18, 2022. Daniel was born on April 26, 1931 in Amarillo Texas, to Trinidad Malacara and Antonia Madrigal. Daniel was raised by his maternal grandmother Maria Madrigal and his Stepmother Guadalupe Malacara.

Daniel served in the United States Army from 1952-1954.

Afterwards, he retired from the United States Postal Service.

Daniel "Dan" enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren grow. During his last few years, he was lovingly cared for by his daughter Pauline.

Daniel was proceeded in death by his son, "Danny Boy," parents Trinidad Malacara and Antonia Mondrigal, brothers; Johnny, Joe, Jacob, Albert, and Richard Malacara of Colorado Springs.

Daniel is survived by his daughters, Erma Linda Naranjo of Trinidad, Pauline Ramirez and Frances Hyde of Colorado Springs.

Grandchildren;

Michelle Ramirez, Danielle Eurton, Jason Ramirez, Karlita Malacara-Maes,

John-Michael and Ariel Hyde.

Great Grandchildren;

Nathan and Makayla Ramirez, Josiah, Jasmine and Arianna Lopez. Dominque Green, Antonia Ramirez, Heaven Eurton, Caden, Dillon, Jullian Ramirez and Emiliano, Armando, Dominic and Sophia Malacara.

Great-Great Grandchildren;

Alleyah, Gabriel and Sylas Ramirez, Catalina Cuavas, Zalayna Lopez, and Kera Romero.

Brother Alfred Malacara, Sister Margret Bustamante, and Sister-in-law Isabelle Malacara.
