Wow, I can’t believe a year has passed, I miss you & Mary coming to the dealership, always guaranteed good conversations & even better laughs , you always made my day, rest easy Big Guy!!

Today is the one year Anniversary of your passing Dan and I have greatly missed my best buddy. 
Today I don’t want to be sad. 
I’m remembering the good times we’ve shared together,  and all your insane jokes you’d play on me that  would crack  us up laughing. 
Let me see.   It’s December, you were really kind that one year and gave me a gift. 
You were certain to remind me to put it in the fridge so it wouldn’t go bad and insisted Not To Be Opened till Christmas. 
Christmas morning came and I remembered  “oh Dan’s Christmas gift is in the fridge”!
  I got it out carefully I start to unwrap it anticipating maybe a nice box of chocolates from my good bud. 
 And then there it was!  
An old dirty, tatted & torn dragged on the dirt red and black checkered winter vest!

That was Dan! But he gave me the  BEST gift that  Christmas he gave me the biggest laugh!
Dan may no longer be here physically but in spirit I know he’s  here.  Our memories together still come to my mind and I find myself laughing all on my own. I know that’s just Dan’s way of saying “ hey Mister remember when I did this to you, have a laugh today.
Dan’s  friendship brightened my life as I’m sure he did everyone’s.
The day I met him I found a forever  friend.
Remembering you today Dan, thanks for the memories.
Oh, and one more thing my favorite one to you Dan :  
I will always remember what you did last summer. 😊

You were always fun to be around. You had a great attitude always in a good mood a funny joke and a positive attitude to cheer everyone around you up. It was always good to see you and Mary come into the store. Always made a point to come by and brighten up the day with your smile and a good story.

If you are very lucky once in a lifetime, you meet a friend that touches your heart like no other.
Dan touched mine.
I will greatly miss him, and there will forever be a void in my life now that he is gone.
No one could make me laugh more than Dan and our laughs we had together will be stories I continue to share with people for the rest of my life.
Dan was a gentle giant of a guy.
He had a heart bigger than his truck, it was not only big it was kind.
Dan would always be there for you at the drop of a hat. He was always willing to 
listen to you if you needed a shoulder to talk to or  someone to listen to while you vent. And to make things seem better, he would always throw in a joker or two. 
He touched so many lives, and each one of those are blessed to have known him.
I’m sure Dan is listening to me now, that’s just like something he would do. So let me just say this:
Well “Mister” you’re going to be greatly missed. Thanks so much for coming into my life and making me one of those very lucky people and becoming the greatest of friends.  Love you bud.

Sir you will be missed. Always had a smile and a positive thought. I am sure you are up in heaven telling a good joke or getting a baseball game going. You were a great friend, and employee. I was blessed to know you so go wait on the far side of the Jordan for all your family, and friends.

For those who prayed for our cousin Danny, thank you. He died peacefully yesterday and isn’t suffering anymore. He was the kinda guy who loved you for you. He was the relative who always made you feel like you were his favorite! I believe every family member feels the same way about him. Please continue to pray for his wife Mary and his momma as they navigate this season of life. 
Danny,  I won’t say REST IN PEACE because I know you are now having the time of you life!

While I'm so sorry to hear about Dan's passing down here, I can rejoice knowing that he is more alive than he's ever been in Heaven! So blessed beyond measure to have known him and to be privileged to be a part of Dan and Mary's lives when I pastored in Penrose a few years back.  My life is forever blessed by the memories we shared! Praying for Mary and the family and trusting God to just be God in their lives.

Dear Mary and Dan's family and friends, I am very sorry for your loss. Danny was a good man, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him!Thoughts and prayers sent.

I'm sad to hear of Dan's passing. My condolences to his family. I
worked with Dan for many years. He always had a twinkle in his eye
and was up for any kind of good natured jokes  played on our
co-workers, including me. He will be  missed and fondly
remembered by all who knew him.

Danny & Mary would always come & find me when having his car serviced at the dealership, Danny always put a smile on my face , he was so funny with his jokes , can’t believe we saw each other not too long ago at on the border , I’ll pray for Mary & family, and you Big guy rest easy , & save me a seat!

We're sure gonna to miss you Danny.  Happy Trails in heaven. Hope you and Gambler are finding all of the good trail for us.
