

Dixie Lee Ensz was born March 24, 1948 to Herb and Ruth (Sturzenbecher) Ensz.
Jesus called her home June 20, 2011 after a valiant battle with cancer. She grew up in South Dakota and graduated from Marion High School. She was baptized and confirmed at Bethesda Lutheran Church, Marion, South Dakota. She taught Sunday School since 8th grade. She believed in the power of prayer and was a great prayer warrior and great encourager. She made friends easily and kept them forever. Many are privileged to have known her as a wonderful friend.
She worked at El Paso Corp. for 21 years. She wrote, crafted stained glass & cut stones.
She is survived and will be greatly missed by sisters Donna (Leon) Thaemert, Colorado Springs and Peggy (Art) Farmer, Cincinnati, Ohio and brothers Jim (Bernette) Ensz, Sioux Falls, SD, Kelly (Laine) Ensz Tea, SD and Tom (Lynette) Ensz Hartford, SD., 8 nieces and 8 nephews and a great number of relatives and friends. Sister Linda and parents preceded her.
