

Dolores was born in Duncansville, PA on February 5, 1922. She was the 18th child of Martin and Christina Yingling and was raised in Lily, PA. She was married to Charles H. Daniels, Jr. in 1948 and they had 42 years together until his death in 1990. During that time, they had 28 years together in the Air Force and traveled the world until retiring in Colorado Springs in 1976. Her hobbies included gardening, ceramics, crocheting and cleaning.
“Gramma Dee” is survived by her daughter, Alice (John) Kuhns and her son, Charles Daniels; grandchildren, Samuel, Thomas, William and Martin Harris, Andrea (Gregg) Sloniker and Jason (Melissa) Kuhns; great-grandchildren, Rebekah, Hannah, Sam, Janay, Aitana, Kaehli and Brendan; and her sister, Hope McAllister.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, “Dan”; her daughter, Patricia Harris; granddaughter, Trudy; great-granddaughter, Taylor; 16 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 7th, 2011, at Swan Law Funeral Home, 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 8th at Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3825 Airport Road, with grandson Samuel Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
