Don Adamson passed away unexpectedly on April 6th, 2026 at the age of 76. Born in Waco TX, Don was the oldest of four boys, Vic, Rick and John(d), from parents George(d) and Velma(d). Sometime around 1968 Velma brought her boys to live in Colorado Springs where Don graduated from Wasson High School.
In 1969 Don married Jeanette and spent the next 26 years raising their three children, Pam, Ed and Gerry until her passing. Since then Don has nurtured partnerships spending many years with Sue(d), several years with Billie Sue(d) and a few years with Marnie, which included raising many more bonus kids that he always considered his own.
Don is survived by his three children, 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Don had a passion for road trips, architecture and the outdoors.
For Don's love of architecture his Honoring of Life will be held at the Historic First Congregational Church at 20 East Vrain St, CO Springs CO 80903 at 3pm Saturday May 2nd, 2026.
