Dorothy, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother is survived by her husband of 62 years, Glenn; daughters, Constance (Wayne) Yeoman, Sandra Cramer; and son, Kent (Sherida) Peterson. She will be greatly missed by grandchildren, Matthew (Kate), Melissa and great-granddaughter, Skylar. She was the oldest sibling, and leaves behind Verla Jamison, LaVerne Pollat and Donna Weese.
She had worked as a telephone operator prior to marriage and was an accomplished homemaker thereafter.
Dorothy enjoyed reading, watching college and pro sports, living in Colorado and loved hearing about and from her family. She was a gentle and pure soul and we will treasure her memory.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Swan Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Reception will be immediately following.
