Ella Imogene "Jean" Coulter was born to Lewis Elmo and Emma Caroline (Rotramel) Taylor in Sugar City, CO on August 19, 1933. Jean worked as an accountant and homemaker. She sewed for her family, cross-stitched and created memorable birth plaques and blankets for her loved ones. She loved music, played the organ and sang at home and in the church choir. She also worked with the deaf ministry at her church.
She married the love of her life, Charles Albert Coulter, on May 1, 1955 and they enjoyed 63 years together. The happy couple bought their first and only home in Security, CO in 1957. After Chuck retired at age 55, the couple was able to devote even more time to shared interests of working in their yard, fishing, boating, camping, and wintering in Arizona along with many other adventures for 20 years. They relished sitting in their kitchen, looking out the bay window and sharing coffee together. Jean continued to live in her home after Chuck's passing in 2018. Jean passed away in her home on December 22, 2023 surrounded by children.
Jean had accepted Jesus as her personal Savior and she loved and served her Lord for many years and looked forward to going home in Heaven. She stated her desire that each of you would also trust Christ as your personal Savior and join her one day in Heaven.
