Emma Rose Ellison

Emma Rose Ellison (Fellhauer) passed away peacefully on October 15, 2014. Emma's remarkable 100 year lifetime was spent in serving and loving her family and friends. The warmth of her heart and the sparkle in her eyes will never be diminished nor dimmed. Her effervescent joy and unshakable positive attitude came from her deep faith in God. She was a light and encouragement to many. She was a faithful friend and an anchoring keystone to her family. She will be sorely missed by all of those she so dearly loved.

Her marriage to Hoyt Dale Ellison, produced six children Jacquelyn Deonne (deceased), Phyllis Sue (deceased), Hoyt Dale Jr. (Jeri), Linda Lou (Bill Cutkomp), Phillip Stephen (Carol) and Charles Dennis (Nancy) Emma is survived by four children, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place from 5:00PM – 7:00PM on Monday, October 20, 2014 at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO. On Tuesday, October 21, 2014, a second vistitation will be held from 10:00AM – 11:00AM, a funeral service and celebration of life will take place from 11:00AM – 12:00PM, and a reception will follow from 12:00PM – 2:30PM. All Tuesday events will be conducted at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO. A private burial service for family only will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Colorado Springs, CO.
