Emma Jasmine Nelson came into the world on October 2, 2004. She was loved immediately by all of her family and in turn they were enriched by her dynamic and quirky personality, wonderful voice and generous spirit. We are deeply saddened to announce she passed away on April 28 at the age of 20.
Emma graduated from CIVA High School. During that time she got to take a dream trip to Greece with classmates. Emma had great artistic talent and a wonderful love of nature, summiting four fourteeners and hiking to Havasu Falls at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. In the past year she particularly savored the surroundings of her beloved Mount Herman. She was wonderful and loyal to her parents, brothers, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and friends. She will be dearly missed.
A celebration of her life is planned at Gateway Presbyterian Church on May 17, 2025 at 11:00am.
