

Born on April 28, 1948, in San Mateo, CA to Andy and Geri Anderson, Evie spent her early years in Amarillo, TX, before moving to Colorado Springs during her senior year of high school. She graduated from Wasson High School in 1966 and led a life filled with passion, dedication, and love for her family and community.
In 1972, Evie married her late, loving husband, Raymond Marshall, with whom she shared 32 cherished years. Together, they raised a loving family, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and strong values.
Evie began her career as a cosmetologist, running her in-home salon for many years before transitioning into real estate. She became a respected and accomplished agent in the Colorado Springs area for over four decades. Her warm personality, strong work ethic, and commitment to helping others made her a beloved figure in the industry and beyond.
A devout Christian, Evie loved the Lord and lived with faith, grace, and kindness. She found great comfort in her relationship with God and was grateful for the promise of eternal life. Her family takes peace in knowing she is now in Heaven, reunited with her beloved husband and loved ones who passed before her.
Above all, Evie cherished her family. She is survived by her son, Raymond, and his wife, Robin; their son, Buck Marshall, and his wife, Brittney; and daughter, Ivy Marshall. She is also survived by her daughter, Trisha Tarleton, and her husband, David, along with their daughters, Ashlynn and Ella Tarleton. Additionally, Evie leaves behind her dear sisters, Susan Martinez, her daughters Joy Field and Beth Frawley, and Judy Dotson, her son Chuck Dotson, and nephew Shane Anderson.
Evie’s kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of strength, generosity, and faith will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those she touched throughout her life.
A celebration of Evie’s life will be on Friday February 7, 2025 at 11:00 am at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her honor to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region or the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, two organizations that were close to her heart.
