Felicia was born on October 26, 1986 in Panorama City, California, to Denise Craig, Felicia was an only child. Growing up in Canyon Country, California, she loved playing sports. Her moms, (Denise and Julie) took her to every volleyball and softball game along with her dance recitals. Felicia graduated from Canyon Country High School in 2004.
While working at the Beverly Hills Police Department as a Crime Scene Investigator, Felicia met Michael Publicker. After leaving Beverly Hills Police, Felicia worked at Beverages and More where she obtained her Sommelier License. While hosting a beer and wine tasting in Valencia, Michael came in and recognized a beautiful young lady from his past. An invitation to coffee blossomed into a lifetime of happiness.
Michael and Felicia were married in 2015 and never looked back. They enjoyed traveling to France, Canada, Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii amongst many other states. Together they enjoyed horseback riding, wine tasting, listening to Taylor Swift, eating at DDD (Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives) locations and most of all, rescuing unwanted animals.
In 2015, Michael and Felicia bought their first ranch, a little 4-acre ranch in Leona Valley, California, where they started their horse rescue. Thoroughly enjoying the rural lifestyle, they moved to a 120-acre ranch in Calhan, Colorado. Here they raise horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, turkeys, cattle and (6) rescued dogs. Her zest for life and eagerness to help others was always present. She was always a person you could count on and always “showed up.”
Giving back to the community, in which they lived, was always a priority. Felicia started at a young age with Relay for Life (American Cancer Society) and in Leona Valley served on the Leona Valley Improvement Association and ran the Gymkhana program. Here in Colorado, Felicia served on the El Paso County Fair Board, El Paso County Fair Corporation and volunteered hundreds of hours at the fair itself, receiving the 2025 EPC Fair Volunteer of the year award. The Fair Family she developed will miss her dearly. She also coached volleyball at both the Calhan Middle School as well as the High School in addition to assisting with the El Paso County Fair Queen program.
Felicia Publicker is survived by her husband Michael Publicker and her (4) step-sons Justin, Joshua, Joseph, Mikey and her (8) grandkids Ezra, Carson, Kara, Callahan, Levi, Harlie, Tallulah and Maisy.
