Born in Sanford, Colorado on March 31st, 1942 to Roldolfo and Rose Samora, the sixth of eight children. She married Jessie in 1959 (preceded in death in 2004) and had four boys: Jessie, Richard (Diane), Randy (Donna) and Rudy. She was a dedicated wife, mother, lifelong homemaker and the caretaker of an elderly disabled family friend for many years. An avid Colorado Rockies fan, she also enjoyed playing bingo, the slots at Cripple Creek and spending time with her grandchildren.
The obstacles she encountered in life, such as losing her mother and husband in a short period of time, her gradual loss of sight and the onset of dementia were taken head-on with a great deal of courage and determination. It gave us strength and inspiration to apply to our own lives.
She passed away surrounded by family on August 2nd 2022. Blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends, she will fondly be remembered and missed. Bye for now Mom, but looking forward to seeing you in heaven one day.
