While Gordon was stationed in Korea as the Air Attaché, she assisted as a hostess for the American Ambassador during the early 1970’s. After retirement, they enjoyed travelling around the world and visiting many friends and military compatriots. Frances especially enjoyed each of their 17 cruise ship adventures.
